Uploading Your Videos to HN-TV

From your PC:
Most new computers come with basic video-editing software installed (like Apple's iMovie or Windows MovieMaker). Once you have copied your video (from your phone, camera, or camcorder) to your computer, you can make the changes using the editing program. Most programs allow you to not only edit the video, but add effects, titles, and music to make your video look and sound more interesting (i.e. Sony Vegas).

Acceptable formats are: FLV, 3gp, mp4, mov,asf, mpg,avi, mpeg, wmv.

Once you're happy with your final result, you'll need to save your video to your computer and then upload it as-is to HN-TV.

REMOTE UPLOADING:
Import Video feature allows you to import video from other sites.
For popular sites like Youtube, Dailymotion (public videos only), you can use the share link provided by these sites.

Make Your Video Easy to Find (using TAGS, and KEY WORDS)

When you upload your video, we require you to choose at least 3 categories and enter at least one tag to describe the content in your video. Adding this information helps HN-TV members, and viewers, find your video. The more accurate the tags are on each video, the easier it is for everyone to find the best videos to watch.

Make your tags as descriptive as you can, for example...if your video subject is ‘Stop Smoking’, then you might want to tag it: stop smoking,quit,cigarettes,cessation. Each tag is separated from the others by a comma.

Private videos:
If you'd like to limit the viewing of one of your videos, you can set it to be a "Private" video. If your video is set to "Private" only, you and users whom you invite to view the video will be able to see it. The video will not appear on your channel, in Groups, search results, playlists, etc.
